What You Can Look Forward to

Seeing gorillas in their natural habitat AND the Great Migration? In one trip? Yes, it is possible! Naturally, we had to group the two most memorable wildlife experiences together for you.

On this tour, you will start in Rwanda's capital, Kigali, whereafter your will venture to Volcanoes National Park's misty forests, trekking in search of the last remaining mountain gorillas. From here, you will head to Kenya's capital, Nairobi. Then it's time to experience your very own East African safari! You'll first head to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, before ending your safari in the Serengeti National Park, where we will give you a luxurious front-row-seat (your very own throne, queen!) to the Great Migration, arguably Mother Nature's greatest show.

End it on a sunny, relaxing note in Zanzibar Archipelago, a dreamy island coastline. Sounds like the ultimate trip? Trust us, it is!

Rwanda's Thriving Capital

You might be surprised to hear that Rwanda's capital city is one of the most secure cities on the African continent. It's also easy on the eyes! With lush hills, a bustling city centre, fascinating local culture and history, it's the perfect first stop on your Rwanda itinerary.

Kigali is conveniently located a stone throw away from all the well-known tourist attractions. It's also easy to fly here as the city is home to the Kigali International Airport.

2 Nights in Volcanoes National Park

Home to the Endangered Mountain Gorilla

Have you watched Gorillas in the Mist? Well, Volcanoes National Park is the very setting where it was filmed. Home to some of the last remaining mountain gorilla primates, venturing into this jungle is a privilege few get to experience. It is also the oldest park in Africa, with incredible dense vegetation. You can also look forward to seeing golden monkeys swing from tree to tree, as well as over 180 bird species.

Step into the Volcanoes National Park and Diane Fossey's shoes as you explore the mystery of this spectacular forest.

1 Night in Nairobi

Gateway to Kenya's Splendour

Not only is Nairobi Kenya's capital and transportation hub, but it also breathtakingly beautiful. A highlight is seeing the magnificence of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya, Africa's tallest and second-tallest mountains, protruding proudly in the distance. The city itself offers treasures, such as excellent restaurants and bustling nightlife.

For your dose of history and culture, the Karen Blixen Museum will enthral anyone who appreciates the Out of Africa film. The nearby Nairobi National Park located nearby also offers excellent wildlife sightings.

2 Nights in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Action-Packed Safari Adventure

Named after the local Maasai tribes, Masaai Mara National Park is a celebrity in its own right. It's best known for being part of the site for the Great Migration. This annual phenomenon is when millions of wildebeest, with gazelle and zebra on their heels, make their way across Tanzania to Kenya and back again. It makes for incredible wildlife sighting, particularly when they cross the Mara River, where ravenous crocodiles lurk beneath the surface, waiting to pounce.

The thriving big cat population also pounce around every corner, making it one of the most unique and exhilarating game viewing opportunities in Africa.

3 Nights in Serengeti National Park

Ultimate Great Migration Safari

If you want to witness the Great Migration, the Serengeti National Park is the place to be! This massive park (around 1.5 million hectares) is packed with wildlife, including the famous Big 5. Part of the Great Migration occurs here, where you can see the millions of wildebeest followed by other animals like zebra and gazelle, make their way across the plains for their annual migration journey to greener pastures. If you're an avid birder, rest assured that there are many bird species to admire.

With multiple luxury accommodation options, the Serengeti will undoubtedly be a highlight on your East African safari.
