We'd be silly not to put game viewing first, as Kenya is world-famous for this very reason! It's probably why you were thinking of visiting in the first place. But why Kenya over other destinations? Not only is it home to the Big 5, but nature documentary makers flood Kenya's Maasai Mara National Reserve's vast savannah to witness the greatest calendar event, namely the Great Wildebeest Migration. 4. Working up a Sweat in the Mountains
Feeling adventurous? Kenya will tick that box too! With mesmerising mountain peaks, it's begging to be explored. Some of these mountains include the well-known Mount Kenya, as well as Mount Longonot and Mount Elgon. Mount Kenya is a challenging but doable climb and will take you around four to seven days, so make sure you plan a long enough holiday to still enjoy the many other things that make Kenya special.
