This 16 day trip showcases the best of what Southern Africa has to offer, with top safari experiences in the Kruger Park. You’ll get to tick off a bunch of must-see’s and do’s during your trip. Start in the exclusive Sabi Sand and move on to the mighty Victoria Falls, with plenty activities tto enjoy, before heading to vibrant Cape Town. After a few nights in the Mother City, head to the coast of Hermanus and then the Cape Winelands for some fine wining and dining.
Day 1-5: Londolozi Pioneer Camp, Kruger
From Johannesburg Airport, hop a flight to the Sabi Sand in the Greater Kruger National Park region. Spend four luxurious nights at Londolozi’s Pioneer Camp. Go on exciting Big 5 game drives and be sure to look out for leopard and wild dog as well! It promises to be a safari of a lifetime. All meals and local drinks are included.
Day 5-8: Tongabezi Lodge, Zambia
You’ll be transferred to Kruger Airport for a flight onward to Livingstone, Zambia. Spend three nights at Tongabezi with the Victoria Falls close by. During your stay go on a sunset cruise down the Zambezi River, white water rafting, bungee jumping or go walking with lions. All meals and local drinks are included.
Day 8-12: Cape Grace, Cape Town
After your wild safari experience, it’s away to city life. Fly from Livingstone Airport to Johannesburg Airport and straight on to Cape Town Airport. Collect your car for your self-drive trip from here on… First port of call: the Cape Grace Hotel in the V&A Waterfront. Having your own car gives you the freedom to do and see all you wish. Breakfast is included.
Day 12-14: Birkenhead House, Hermanus
After a few nights of exploring the Mother City, enjoy a scenic drive to the coastal town of Hermanus, considered one of the best whale watching spots in the world. Visit between July and November for the best chance of spotting these marine beauties. Spend two nights at Birkenhead House – right on the beach. All meals and local drinks are included.
Day 14-16: La Residence, Franschhoek
Complete your Cape experience with a trip to the Winelands, where you’re bound to come in contact with more fine wines and gourmet meals than you can handle – never mind the beautiful scenes begging to be photographed. There’s plenty to do here – such as hiking, horse riding or cycling through the wine farms. As for where to rest your head we recommend the luxurious La Residence in Franschhoek, close to many fabulous restaurants and shops that can be explored on foot.
